What are we looking for?
We are looking for a passionate Mid-Senior Digital Designer with functional design abilities and a love of beautiful design. The candidate needs to have a love of all things digital and love finding creative ways to bring a brand, campaign, or message to life. We need a designer that is able to tweak their design style to meet the needs of each individual client whilst honoring their existing brand voice, style, and requirements. As a design enthusiast, you need to be self-motivated and love keeping up to date with the latest trends and industry developments. The design candidate needs to have a strong creative flair coupled with the ability to translate requirements into design through a clear process and precision.
As the Digital Designer, you will be involved in all stages of the design process including defining requirements, visualising and creating graphics, designing layouts and helping to shape the complete visual aspect of our clients’ & digital marketing needs.
We’re looking for a designer with great motivation to learn and slot into a high stress, fast paced environment. Most importantly, we’re looking for a designer that is hungry to grow into a fast-evolving and growing team.
Your role in eComplete
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Understand design briefs and determine requirements as per best design practices
- Schedule work in accordance with client deadlines and due deliverables
- Responsible for creating designs that enhance the customer experience with a brand and facilitate an enjoyable experience across email and social media.
- Engage with more complex ideation and conceptualise visuals
- Engage in team training to further personal & departmental development
- Collaborate with other departments and the rest of the design team to understand project needs and ensure output of the highest quality
- Solve challenges with innovative designs
- Internal and external communication designs
- Prepare rough drafts and present ideas
- Developing marketing collateral and infographics for the website and material to send to clients
- Keeping abreast of market trends and ensuring we stay current
- Responsible for time tracking, reporting and achieving targets and deliverables on your projects
- Develop digital elements including illustrations, logos, social media campaigns and mailers etc.
- Use the appropriate colours and layouts for each graphic as per client/brand guidelines and CI Test graphics across various media
- Amend designs after feedback
- Familiarity with relevant design software especially Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign
- Knowledge in Adobe XD, UI and UX is advantageous but not a requirement
- Learn our website product offering, upskill into UI/UX and assist where and needs be.
Candidate Requirements:
- A Design Degree or equivalent certificate
- Strong portfolio of design work
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
- Familiarity with relevant design software especially Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Media Encoder
- Keen eye for aesthetics and details
- A love of design
- Knowledge in Adobe XD, UI and UX is advantageous
