A talented, driven Conversion Rate Specialist with extensive Shopify/Magento experience, who has the ability and thrill to thrive in our fast-paced and agile environment. As part of our digital team, you will play a key role in increasing revenue over multiple e-commerce sites for our extensive client portfolio.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) Specialist with a deep understanding of eCommerce websites, especially within the Shopify Magento platforms. The ideal candidate will be analytical, data-driven, and knowledgeable about a wide range of digital marketing channels. You’ll be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing strategies to optimize our clients’ websites to improve conversion rates and overall customer experience on our clients websites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze: Conduct in-depth analysis of website performance metrics to identify drop-off points, customer behavior, and opportunities for optimization.
- Testing: Develop and execute A/B and multivariate tests on Shopify sites to improve key conversion metrics (e.g., conversion rate, cart abandonment rate, average order value).
- Strategy: Create and implement CRO strategies that align with client goals and target audiences, integrating data insights and UX best practices.
- Collaboration: Work closely with design, development, and marketing teams to ensure optimizations are effectively implemented and aligned with broader campaigns.
- Reporting: Provide detailed analysis and reports on the impact of CRO strategies and suggest ongoing improvements based on data.
- Digital Marketing Integration: Utilize insights from other digital marketing channels such as PPC, SEO, email marketing, and social media to enhance website performance and overall digital strategy.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in a CRO-focused role, ideally within an eCommerce or digital agency environment.
- Shopify Expertise: Strong knowledge of Shopify, including theme customization, app integrations, and functionality optimization.
- Data-Driven: Proficient in data analysis tools such as Google Analytics, Hotjar, or similar platforms.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and A/B testing platforms (e.g., Optimizely, VWO).
- Digital Marketing Acumen: Solid understanding of key digital marketing channels (SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media) and how they impact conversion rates.
- UX/UI: A good understanding of user experience and design principles to collaborate effectively with design and development teams.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to think critically and creatively about optimization strategies.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for clear reporting and collaboration with both internal teams and clients.
Bonus Skills:
- Familiarity with other eCommerce platforms besides Shopify (e.g., Magento, WooCommerce).
- Knowledge of modules/applications on CMS platforms that aid conversion rate
- Knowledge of email marketing automation platforms (e.g., Klaviyo, Mailchimp).
